Meet the GIVR Team
Lea Wetzel
Structural Designer
If you had to explain your job to a curious five-year-old, how would you put it? In other words, provide a simplified description of your job duties.
I get paid to do arts-and-crafts with math by building boxes that protect and show off people’s products.
What’s the most interesting part of your daily work routine?
Having creative freedom in my designs. It’s super easy to hop over to the Kongsberg and cut out my rough drafts to see what’s working and what’s not. I do a lot of hands-on work and we work with a wide variety of different brands and products so there’s never a dull moment.
What’s a project, achievement, or general win at GIVR that you’re really proud of?
A month in, I can say the little wins come when I give my perspective to discussions and problem solve around roadblocks. I’m glad to be adding value to the team while learning the ropes.
What’s one thing that energizes and motivates you about working for GIVR, or about the impact your team makes?
There’s a lot of opportunity to learn everything there is to know about a business. I’m excited to form great connections with the people behind the brands we work with and meet new customers along the way.
When you’re not busy at work, what is a passion, hobby, or interest that brightens your day?
As a new Florida resident, I’ve really enjoyed exploring the area - going to the beach and trying new restaurants, etc. Some of my passions/hobbies include painting my nails, dancing, traveling, and binge watching TV shows.
Is there a personal motto, favorite quote, or funny saying that you live by, either personally or professionally?
